Today my physics teacher was wearing a t-shirt which was probably
designed by his daughter when she was younger. It was so cute, she
even misspelled daddy hahah. Anyway it made me think about my
relationship with my parents, which was way better when I was younger.
I was always selfish and I took advantage of their loving and giving
ways. They didn't spoil me by buying me every toy there was on the tv
but they would have random moments where they'd take me to a mall just
to buy one toy I saw on commercial. I remember seeing a doll that
closed up like a flower. I kept telling them about it so they finally
brought me to Zellers at Oakridge to buy it. It didnt close up, FALSE
ADVERTISEMENT. Another time, my parents drove me to Shoppers Drug Mart
to by powder to make me fly HAHA. I remember jumping off my couch
trying to fly. Oh whattta fail! Thinking back, my parents most likely
knew it wasn't going to work but they still bought it for me anyway.
My parents didn't buy me everything I wanted but they had their
moments. From waking up in the middle of the night to walk me to the
washroom (even though the walk to their room was longer LOL. I needed
them to turn on the lights and make sure nothing was there) to leaving
the dinner table still hungry because I the last piece of chicken
HAHAH. My parents are weird, but they have their moments. Love them
lots!
